total sleeping weather.

welp, we just got out of bed and it's 11am. i brewed up some moka pot and made toast. it's totally raining and cold out there. HOWEVER, we are going to venture out so i can buy a raincoat. you'll be amazed at how difficult it is to buy a raincoat up here. we went to lloyd center mall (which is like a never-ending expanse of stores), and i found zilch. i'm going to have to fall back on the ol' standby: target.

we're thinking of hitting a bar this evening and maybe increasing our chances of meeting new people. there's also this place called "the avalon" up the street. it's a $2 theater and game parlor--similar to FFC in omaha. i guess mike checked out the website and they just got a bunch of new pinball machines in. we're both hoping that they have "the addams family" game, which is hands-down, the best pinball game ever created.

we'll update later once we've gotten a handle on this day.
