The Real Community Cafe

This Thai place to eat has got to be a must see for anyone in the Portland area. It is right up the street on Belmont from our apartment, and is in this old Victorian house. There are only 12 small tables in there and the waiter (one of the owners) takes care of all the tables while his wife (the other owner) cooks all the meals. It's done in just your average home kitchen while you dine in there living room, absolutely amazing food. Thomas, it seems that our idea to feed the public in our own living space has been taken, although it couldnt be executed any better than this establishment. Posted by Picasa

A good idea is a good idea. To be the first, or the best is not of consequence. To be positively influenced, however... Fantastic! It's all possible, is'nt it? Every zainy, kooky plan. What's reassuring is that our creative energy will most likely mix together again. It will bombard various ideas and problems, until it etches out utterly irresistible solutions -the kind in which people clamber to participate.
