enjoy your eggs and bunnies!
mike decided to make french toast this morning because we bought the biggest loaf of bread yesterday. after we'd cut into it, i realized that we should've taken a picture. then it occurred to me that people reading this blog don't give a rat's ass how big the $3 loaf of bread called "big country" happens to be.
today, there is actually blue sky, but heavy showers are forecasted. it's really chilly, too. like 46 degrees. hope the kiddies like frozen easter eggs! i went ahead and ordered a raincoat off good ol lands' end online. $29 and it gets delivered to my house. oh yes, our search for a raincoat for me yesterday was fruitless. positively fruitless. you'd think that in a state where it rains, oh, about 60% of the time, there'd be raingear falling out of trees. thankfully, the internets saved me! again!
so we watched "the aristocrats" last night. holy crap, that's a hilarious movie! it's a documentary discussing the mother of all dirty jokes. i think most adults will get tired of all the poo and incest references, but my immature mind laughed through the whole thing. basically, it's comedians from all gererations discussing and retelling (in their own words) this dirty joke. i loved it.
i've never been much of a movie watcher, but since we decided against getting cable, we joined hollywood video. everything's a new release to me! i've also read 3.5 books since we've landed, too.
french toast's up! gotta run. happy easter everyone! wish we could be there to celebrate with you all! so hey, eat some ham for us.
love, anne and mike

i hated that movie. ugh.
the price and size of bread is exactly why i read this blog. the fun is in the details.
touche, then! i'll make sure and pack the camera more often!
and kirsten, POO ON YOU, that movie was hilarious.
somehow I thought you would say that kirsten
maybe they don't sell raincoats because everyone in portland wears some kind of futuristic waterproof rain gear. You'd think they wouldn't just be walking around wet all the time.
I'm all about that futuristic techno-fiber. Someone just needs to point me in the right direction (although here I believe it is the LEFT direction) Oh, how I enjoy it so - the unemployed one
