woah, i slept a long time last night. i was so tired from having gotten up for work at 4:45am. i crashed around 9pm and woke up this morning at 8. i made mikey some breakfast and sent him off to work. today is a nice, cloudy day. it's not that chilly, but it's not really warm either. i think it's a perfect day to clean the apartment, read a book, or maybe bake some cookies...

my friend lish, from ashland, oregon is coming to visit this weekend. she and i are going to do some window shopping. she's pretty familiar with portland, so i'm hoping she can show me some good insider stuff about the city. it'll also be nice to hang out with another girl. i'm gonna tote the camera along, so i'll get some good pictures of our adventures.

it's supposed to rain quite a bit tomorrow, so i'm not planning on going to kickball. i'm a little wary of kickball these days--i've heard a few more injury stories surrounding the borders team. since i'm still uninsured, i think it may be a bad idea. if i dislocated my knee, i'd be in debt until i was 50 (which i already happen to be, thanks to student loans!).
